Mulryjewels is ONE WORD :)

Just clarifying for people who have been asking. Despite various online publications, Mulryjewels is just one word and not two. Any printing of "Mulry Jewels" is a mistake, albeit a well meaning one :) Thanks for the shout outs for Murlyjewels OR "mulry jewels." I know who you mean :D

Thanks and BE a great day!

Wedding Feature!

Last June Michelle Plutter became Michelle Bottini, but now without the help of Mulryjewels! Take a look at how beautiful she looks!

She is wearing (a fabulous gown plus) simple swarovski Pearl Drop Earrings and the Matching Pearl Drop Necklace. Simple and elegant. That is the style of Mulryjewels Bridal.

For the bridesmaids we went with elegant and fun. Check out these colors!

The girls are wearing the Fireball Necklace and some simple drop earrings in gold filled chain and findings.

Michelle would have made a beautiful bride without the help of mulryjewels, but I am glad that we were able to work together. A little custom design work can really make an event special. All of the pieces were custom made to the specifications of the wedding. The jewelry really complemented the dresses and made the whole look "pop."

Faith

It has come to my attention that there is a rise in the trend of "Faith jewelry." I've seen an influx of crosses, ohms, and hamsas or hands of G-d, often using the rosary style beads. I have also seen people wearing these symbols of faith across religious lines. I think this is a wonderful thing. In these tough times it is important that we have something to turn to. Why not incorporate these things into our wardrobe as a constant reminder that we have faith AND that we look FABULOUS?

Here is one of my favorite examples from One Heart Jewelry. This can be found at www.oneheartjewelry.etsy.com
It is called the "Interfaith unity" necklace

Not only is this an expression of the wearers faith, but of all faiths. Therefore it is faith AND tolerance. That's a lot to say around your neck! Debi from One Heart Jewelry says:
"I support all efforts to share spirituality and faith in a tolerant way...no matter what religion!"

I am very inspired by this trend and with the holidays coming up it is more prudent than ever. Keep an eye out for some faith based pieces from mulryjewels in the future. As always, you can check me out at www.mulryjewels.etsy.com . Thanks, and Keep the faith!
